Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of DarkStops. By downloading or using the app you agree to them.

Licence

DarkStops is licensed, not sold, to you for personal and professional use on Apple devices you own or control, under the terms of Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement.

Purchases

The core app is free. Optional DarkStops Premium is an in-app purchase billed to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.

The subscription renews automatically at the same price each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends; your Apple Account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel a subscription in the Settings app under Apple Account > Subscriptions.

The lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase that never renews.

Purchases can be restored through Settings > Restore purchases (and a Restore button on the paywall).

Place information

The listings come from public sources and our own research. Venues move, change their hours and admission, and close, so everything DarkStops shows is there to help you plan a visit rather than to guarantee one. Check the place’s own website before you travel. Distances and directions are a convenience — the app hands the address to Apple Maps or Google Maps and does not route you itself.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the app or interfere with its operation. If you report a problem with a place, keep it accurate and civil; we may ignore reports that are abusive or deliberately false.

No warranty and liability

The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app or reliance on the results it provides.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continued use of the app means you accept the current terms.
